Interesting final project, Robyn. I enjoyed seeing that you have the students work on a historical type project and then also have them compose something. Very cool.
I really like this project. While it's obvious that it is for a more advanced student, it;s the type of thing that they will work hard at. And as Jeff mentioned it's impressive how you incorporated both a history, and composition aspect to it.
I really like your idea for this WebQuest, Robyn. It seems to be more geared for an older student, which is cool to see. I was impressed by your rubric on the evaluation page. I find that I have a difficult time writing rubrics. Yours managed to stay informative and accurate, while remaining positive.
I really enjoyed your project. I like that it was geared towards older student and I love the incorporation of history as well as composition. Students would definitely work hard on this project, which is great! Well done.
Robyn good job I enjoyed your webquest. Your process section is comprehensive and guides students to information that they could only find on the web. Finally, I think this project stimulated higher levels of thinking in students by gain an understanding of various music genres, history of instruments, and performance venues. Good Job.
I thought that your focus on history in addition to composition was really great! I think this is the kind of project that would really inspire students to work to their fullest potential. I really think you did a great job on this project.
I loved this webquest Robyn. The story is very creative and that hotel looks pretty amazing! I enjoyed the different ensembles and how you tied them into the webquest. The process is pretty intense, but it also provides the students to be able to decide what music is conducive to certain performance venues. This is a very comprehensive webquest, and very well done!
